One sister sees a possibility and is already reaching for it. The other likes to work out her next move. That little difference is where the world of MEE-mo and REE-mo begins.
MEE-mo and REE-mo are twin baby dragon sisters created for short English cartoons for young children. Their stories begin with familiar things: a ball, a leaf, a small attempt at something new. There is room for a surprised face, a playful mistake and the satisfaction of finding what was right there all along.
MEE-mo follows her curiosity
MEE-mo is the sister with turquoise details. Her ears, wings and tail make her easy to recognise, but her real signature is how quickly she becomes interested in something. She wants to touch it, follow it or find out where it went.
That mischievous streak is the starting point for her first story. A blue ball rolls towards her. She reaches for it, gets caught up in a leaf and starts looking for the missing ball. The joke belongs to the situation and to her changing expression.
By the end of the second short, she has the ball in her paws and a smile on her face. Her introduction is as simple as the adventure: “Hi! I’m MEE-mo!”
REE-mo likes to think it through
REE-mo is the sister with pink details. She likes things to be in order and gives her task her full attention. When she is concentrating, a tiny tongue tip can peek out — a small piece of body language that says she is really trying.
Her careful nature does not mean everything has to go perfectly. The interesting part of REE-mo is how she responds when her plan does not quite work: a little look, a shrug, and the choice to keep going.
A family resemblance
Both dragons have warm yellow bodies, cream tummies, large brown eyes and two small ivory horns. Their rounded forms and leaf-like wings give them a shared look. Turquoise identifies MEE-mo; pink identifies REE-mo.
The colours are a way to tell the sisters apart. Their personalities come from their expressions and actions: MEE-mo’s quick curiosity, REE-mo’s careful concentration, and the different ways each reacts to a surprise.
Where to begin

Welcome to their little world. There is always something to notice.
