The sisters turn a few floating bubbles into a shared adventure. You can carry that curiosity into a small game of your own, with no worksheet or special setup.
Start by watching Bubble Fun! together, or go straight to the game. Choose one idea and stay with it for as long as everyone is enjoying it.
1. Follow one bubble
If you have bubbles, let a grown-up hold the bottle and blow a few in a clear outdoor space. Pick one bubble to follow with your eyes or point to. Is it going up, down or sideways? There is no need to chase it.
Keep bubble liquid away from mouths and eyes, and follow the product’s instructions. A grown-up stays with the game.
2. Count a little, then pause
Point to one or two bubbles together. Say “one” as you notice a bubble, then “two” if another is easy to see. If they float away too quickly, laugh and try again. It is a shared moment, not a counting test.
3. Give each other a turn
One person chooses a bubble to point to; the other follows it. Then swap. Try a simple “your turn” and “my turn.” Finish while it still feels like play.
No bubbles? Make a pretend one.
Make a circle with your hands and imagine a bubble floating between you. Move your hands slowly up, across and down. Your child can copy you, then lead the next pretend bubble. A gentle clap can be its little pop.
Words to try together
- “Where did it go?”
- “Up, up, up!”
- “A little bubble.”
- “Your turn. My turn.”
- “Pop!”
These are optional play prompts, not a transcript of the video. A point, a smile or a gesture can be a turn, too.
